Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Hybrid
Salary: $150,000-$180,000
Level: Senior

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer License required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Proficient in leading electrical design projects and managing design engineer teams.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in Healthcare/Hospitals preferred.

Duties:

Pre-Design Engineering:

  • Conduct field surveys to gather information for electrical system designs.
  • Prepare site assessment reports.
  • Create electrical schematic designs.

Design Engineering:

  • Develop power single line and riser diagrams.
  • Perform various electrical calculations using ETAP/SKM.
  • Select lighting fixtures and power equipment.
  • Circuit lighting and power systems.
  • Coordinate lighting control systems.
  • Prepare fire alarm device layouts in accordance with codes.
  • Produce enlarged plans, elevations, schedules, and details.
  • Utilize CAD/BIM standards.
  • Apply knowledge of Washington State Electrical Code and Energy Code.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple large-scale projects involving senior engineers and subconsultants.
  • Provide mentorship to design engineers.
  • Independently prepare proposals for clients.
  • Actively develop business with new and existing clients.

Construction Administration:

  • Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFI's).
  • Evaluate equipment submittals.
  • Conduct punch walks and prepare punch list reports.
