Job Description

We are looking for a fun, compassionate LPN to join our extraordinary team of nurses. Our 5-Star facility on beautiful, scenic Green Lake in Seattle is close to public transportation. 

We currently have full-time weekend shifts open in our Assisted Living Community, with an excellent reputation for quality care and customer service! Qualified applicants must have a strong desire to serve our senior population and have high standards of professionalism, work ethic and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring quality of life and care for all residents, and functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team in providing resident care.
   

Essential Functions Statements:

• Makes rounds on all residents as needed.
• Collects pertinent subjective and objective data regarding the health status of residents. .
• Delegates and monitors implementation of the nursing process to appropriate staff. 
• Communicates in a timely manner any significant changes in resident’s status to appropriate members of the health care team. 
• Assures accurate count of all narcotics by shift. 
• Assures new orders are transcribed correctly, and necessary medications are requested from the pharmacy in a timely manner. 
• Reports all incidents and notifies appropriate individuals.
• Reports all incidents of abuse, suspected abuse, and negligence. 
• Monitors and responds to emergencies as delegated by the Director of Assisted Care Services.
• Participates in assessment, problem-solving, resident care conferences and discharge planning processes.
• Supervises Nursing Assistants. 

Qualifications

• Excellent critical thinking and nursing judgment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Successful completion of Nursing School
• Current Washington Licensed Nurse license (RN/LPN)
