Wendle Motors - Accounts Receivable

Wendle Motors in Spokane, WA, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Admin team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring the timely collection of receivables. Position Details:

  • Location: 9000 N Division St, Spokane, WA
  • Schedule: Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, scheduled Monday through Friday
  • Pay: Hourly wage ranging from $18 to $23, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers to collect outstanding balances and maintain accurate records.
  • Reconcile daily sales receipts for Parts and Service
  • Balance COD accounts, process payments, and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Manage accounts receivable activities including invoicing, statement distribution, and collections.
  • Keep Parts and Service Managers informed of past-due accounts.
  • Assist customers with credit applications and reference verifications.
  • Assist customers with the online A/R Portal.
  • Submit for payment authorization on warranty claims.
  • Recommend credit line adjustments based on customer record.
  • Process weekly credit refunds for COD customers.
  • Print and distribute monthly statements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Attention to Detail: A strong focus on precision and accuracy is essential.
  • Effective Communication: Communicating effectively and professionally with managers, colleagues, and customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing tasks and multitasking efficiently.
  • Customer Service Expertise: Prior experience in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilizing Windows, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Data Management: Strong data entry skills and proficiency in handling numerical data.

Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • High School diploma
  • One year of experience in accounting and/or an Associate Degree in Accounting
