CBRE Build is a highly independent innovation team tasked with bolstering the strategic advantage of the worlds largest commercial real estate services company through technology. By delivering innovative products using modern best practices we are steering CBRE into the future. We enjoy significant autonomy with our technology and product decisions while benefiting from the resources of a Fortune 500 business.
We are looking for software engineering interns in Summer 2020 to embed on our product teams and work alongside our full-time engineers. Depending on the product, there may be longer term projects to work on but you would primarily be responsible for the same features and bugs that a full-time engineer would tackle. The internship would last 10-12 weeks and would be based in our Seattle office.
We approach culture with intention, valuing camaraderie, collaboration and a healthy work/life balance. We value ownership and strive to provide more ownership for every member of our team.
In collaboration with your team you will own delivery of features for a portion of our product. You will work closely with other engineers, product owners and UX/UI designers to define and implement features that advance our products towards our stated goals.
Our internship program additionally includes structured learning about our product development process, extracurricular events (i.e. ice cream socials, baseball games), and a dedicated full-time engineer buddy to guide you throughout the summer.
Note: By applying to this position, your application will only be submitted to our Seattle, WA location. For internship opportunities in Dallas and New York, please see our Dallas and New York internship postings.
