Qualifications:Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience OR BA/BS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study. - Experience with review, analysis and development of FS Facilities Master Plan.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:Support the forest in updating the forest wide Facilities Master Plan. - Core Facilities Master Plan Team (3 person): analysis and report writing. 33%
- Core Facilities Master Plan Team (3 person): site visit. 25%
- Core Facilities Master Plan Team (3 person): Report revision and final production. 22%
- Core Facilities Master Plan Team (3 person): Presentation prep and delivery. 20%
Other:- Mandatory training annually for information security awareness/others will be provided to candidate when required.
- Optional training such as COR 1, use of government devices/applications will be provided as needed
- Overnight travel: Overnight travel for the project expected between duty location and project site.
- Rental cars: Once or twice during project, up to 5 days each trip.
- Health and Safety Considerations: Minimal hazards expected for F A&O facilities inspection and analysis. May be required to wear PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, and safety boots.
- Required Safety Gear: hard hat, safety glasses, and safety boots.
- Safety Gear Use: Inspections in warehouse or fire facilities may be exposed to heavy objects in the storage or low openings requiring hard hat and safety boots.
- Physical requirements: Ability to tour or walk through MBS-owned facilities. May need to do some light lifting.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
