Brief Job details: Microsoft recently signed a 3 year contract with Cisco to bring on a Route/Switch IOS-XR Network Consulting Engineer. The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical skills but will also possess strong customer-interaction skills. This candidate must have 6 years of experience in IP Internetworking which includes routing, switching, MPLS and QoS. He/She must also have experience in any of the 3 technologies (ASR 9000, Integrated Services Routers, ASR 1000, Nexus family switches and Advanced technology products. This position is very much like the R/S NCE role however they would like someone who is well versed in IOS-XR as well. Although a CCIE is not required they would like someone at that level. This project will allow some remote work however this Consultant must live in the Seattle area for occasional onsite time.
