We are seeking applications, on an ongoing basis, for biology adjunct instructors and substitutes at Renton Technical College (RTC). The Dean of General Education reviews applications as needed to fill openings during the 2023-24 academic year. Please see terms of employment for wage information.
RTC offers six different classes in this area:
- General biology (BIOL&100) and cell biology (BIOL&160)
- Microbiology (BIOL&260)
- Anatomy and physiology (BIOL 105, BIOL&241, and BIOL&242)
All classes include laboratory experiences, and we prefer to use open educational resource (OER) or low-cost curricula for each class, which enrolls an incredibly diverse group of students. Our biology sections may be scheduled online, weekdays, weeknights, or Saturdays – we are particularly interested in candidates who are available for in-person instruction.Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as needs arise within each department.
