Steak Co. Walla Walla is currently seeking experienced on-call off-site catering cooks to join our team. As an on-call cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for off-site catering events.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with the catering team to ensure smooth operations during events
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of catering events as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook in a catering or banquet setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Availability to work on-call and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
