Job Title: Student Athletic Event Worker
Supervisor: Athletic Director / Event Supervisor
Position may be responsible for various duties associated with athletic events including, but not limited to operating the score clock, operating the 30-second clock, serving as PA announcer.
Operate the score clock for JV, C and Middle School athletic events.
Announce starting line ups, etc. through PA system
Other duties at an event as needed / assigned
Arrive at the venue at a specified time before the event.
Make sure score clock and or PA system is set up and ready to operate.
After the game, pick up and return all equipment to its storage area.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required
Student of the school district is preferred. Applicant should be able to attend home athletic events as assigned, and must be reliable. Applicant must be a minimum of 16 years old.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; hear and understand speech at normal levels, speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, or consistent with the subject being taught, but can be abnormally loud on occasion.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally work in outside weather conditions and be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, temperature fluctuations, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals commonly used in instruction and/or cleaning. It may be expected that the individual could be exposed to blood or other potentially infectious materials during the course of their duties. The employee may be exposed to infectious disease as carried by students.
The employee may be required to travel in school owned or leased vehicles while supervising and assisting students.
