The Washington State Auditor’s Office (SAO) prides itself in offering flexible schedules and a hybrid work environment that helps our staff balance work and life.  Currently, the HR team is working two days a week in office.

We are currently accepting applications for a Senior Human Resource Consultant.
 
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this position serves as a Senior Human Resource Consultant providing expert level guidance and consultation to SAO leadership and staff across all HR disciplines to include but not limited to classification, compensation, employee relations, rule interpretation, leave management, reasonable accommodations, recruitment processes, investigations, etc. Serving as a strategic partner, this position requires application of knowledge and expertise to analyze, evaluate, and provide solutions to sensitive, complex, or critical human resource issues. Assignments often require proactive intervention and have wide or precedent setting impact.
