This is a unique opportunity for someone in the Arlington WA area who wants to learn the painters trade Mon-Fri with some weekends here and there. We are in immediate need of a general laborer type of candidate (someone who likes working with their hands and loves an accomplished day of hard work) who has a general knowledge of hand tools, tape measures, proper ladder use, and is eager to learn quickly how to tape off, use a paint sprayer, detail, finish, and remodel residential homes. If you come with any kind of drywall experience .YOU ARE A KEEPER! (Otherwise, training is provided!) We are offering a monthly attendance bonus of $200 on the last check of each month (taking your hourly pay a month to $21.50-$22.50 hr). You will start off at a training rate of $20-$21 hr (and no waiting week for your first check) until you prove you re self motivated, productive, and can be left on your own to run jobs while the owner is working on other jobs. We are needing someone we can rely on to help with the workload, with the full intention of promoting you to a lead position with higher pay. The candidate we are looking for would understand that the harder you work to finish a job, the more jobs will come in and be bid on, and the more money you make. Understanding your eagerness to be at work every day, on time, and taking as many hours as you can get is what is going to progress you faster. Having a leadership mentality with a focus on customer service will make you stand out. Once you are trained up you will be relied upon to train and supervise part time employees on the job the way the owner would like to have them trained. Not be afraid of ladders.
