**This recruitment will fill one position that will cover projects in the Grays Harbor area.**

About the Facility Professional Services (FPS) Division
FPS provides professional public works project management, energy efficiency and facility planning services to effectively meet the needs of its customers in support of their service to Washington.    

About the Opportunity
This senior-level Project Manager position within Facility Professional Services (FPS) division serves as the principal project manager and client advocate for specific state facilities or institutions with multiple buildings within the Engineering & Architectural Services (EAS) Program. This involves:
  • Providing coordination and project management for all design and construction of public works projects to meet client requirements at those facilities 
  • Assisting management in developing project assignments 
  • Assisting clients in the planning and budgeting of capital projects for biennial budget appropriation requests
  • Being primary back up for other project managers assigned to specific projects at those facilities
The ideal candidate is a dynamic project manager with a working knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of architectural and engineering design, with emphasis on planning and design of public buildings and facilities. You have a strong understanding of program, project management, and construction delivery principles and practices. You possess the ability to adapt easily to changing business environments, needs, and work conditions. You will also possess strong communication skills and the ability to develop and build relationships with a broad client base.
