1. Growth & Optimization on Meet Up Platform

Objective: Leverage 1st & 3rd party events, resources, channels, and content to direct people to the Meet Up community platform. Increase internal and external awareness to engage audiences and achieve shared goals.
Scope of Work:
1. Strategic Planning:
o Develop a comprehensive strategy to utilize 1st and 3rd party events, resources, channels, and content for driving traffic to the Meet Up platform.
o Create a detailed implementation plan with timelines and milestones.
2. Content Creation & Distribution:
o Produce engaging content tailored for various channels (social media, blogs, newsletters) to promote the Meet Up platform.
o Curate and distribute content through identified channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
3. Event Integration:
o Identify and participate in relevant 1st and 3rd party events to promote the Meet Up community.
o Develop partnerships with event organizers to feature the Meet Up platform and drive attendee engagement.
4. Audience Engagement:
o Design and execute campaigns to increase internal and external awareness of the Meet Up platform.
o Implement engagement tactics such as contests, webinars, and interactive sessions to encourage participation.
5. Measurement & Reporting:
o Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the initiatives.
o Provide regular reports on engagement metrics, traffic sources, and conversion rates.

2. Activate Key Influencers in Azure Databases
Objective: Research and identify influencers in the database space such as MVPs and community leaders. Engage them through outreach and partnership initiatives to promote Azure Databases.

Scope of Work:
1. Research & Identification:
o Conduct thorough research to identify key influencers in the database community, including MVPs and community leaders.
o Develop a database of identified influencers with detailed profiles.
2. Outreach Strategy:
o Craft personalized outreach messages to engage selected influencers.
o Develop a partnership strategy that includes guest blogging, social media advocacy, video tutorials, and participation in community events.
3. Engagement & Activation:
o Offer influencers exclusive access to resources, proximity to product leaders, early product previews, and unique experiences to encourage endorsement.
o Facilitate collaboration opportunities such as co-hosted events, webinars, and content creation.
4. Resource Provision:
o Provide influencers with necessary tools and resources to effectively promote Azure Databases.
o Ensure continuous support and communication to maintain strong relationships with influencers.
5. Monitoring & Evaluation:
o Track influencer activities and measure the impact on brand awareness and engagement.
o Provide regular updates and reports on influencer contributions and campaign outcomes.

3. Enhance Participation in Community Events
Objective: Create awareness for monthly priority community events, define frameworks and benchmarks for Azure Databases participation, and optimize existing sponsorship opportunities with clear metrics.
Scope of Work:
1. Awareness Campaigns:
o Develop and execute campaigns to create awareness for monthly priority community events.
o Design promotional materials and content to drive participation and engagement.
2. Framework & Benchmark Definition:
o Establish a framework for Azure Databases' participation in community events, including objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
o Define benchmarks and success metrics for event participation and engagement.
3. Sponsorship Optimization:
o Review and optimize existing sponsorship opportunities to maximize visibility and impact.
o Develop a clear metrics system to evaluate sponsorship effectiveness and return on investment.
4. Event Support & Coordination:
o Provide logistical and strategic support for Azure Databases involvement in community events.
o Ensure seamless coordination and execution of event activities.
5. Measurement & Reporting:
o Collect and analyze data on event participation, engagement, and outcomes.
o Produce detailed reports highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future events.

Vendor Selection Criteria:
Proven track record in managing similar initiatives.
Expertise in community engagement, influencer marketing, and event management.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Creative and strategic approach to content creation and distribution.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:
1. Minimum 7+ years experience with building PowerPoint decks.
2. Minimum 7+ years experience with SharePoint site experience.
3. Minimum 7+ years experience with communication/writes articulately.


Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred.
10 years related experience would be great, or 7+ years.

Candidates with previous experience working at Microsoft, either as a full-time employee (FTE) or contractor, are strongly preferred.
