Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant in Everett, WA!!
Scope of Job:
Title: Medical Assistant
Place: Everett, WA
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm Work days per week: 4 days per week, variable days off (also open to 5, 8 hour days)
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Performs all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistants practice and operates diagnostic equipment.
- Prepares and sterilizes medical equipment using the autoclave.
- Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patient for examination.
- Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner
- Supports and follows Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO)
Qualifications & Requirements:- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Epic EMR and Core Medical Assisting experience
- Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 180 days of employment.
- Current BLS certification
- Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills.
