The primary responsibilities of a laborer is to ensure the site is clean of debris and free of tripping hazards. Laborers also haul in tools, materials, and assist in general duties as assigned by foremans. This position is entry level, but on construction sites a laborer is pivotal to any contractor and foreman as they are the go-to when tasks need done or assistance with minor things like holding beams, shoveling rock, spreading concrete and foundation sand, raking gravel, and other things like that.Must have reliable transportation, physically able to stand and walk all day, lift up to 30lbs safely, be alert and aware of surroundings, self directed and motivated to keep moving and not stand or lean, and always seeking out additional tasks to ensure things are moving on the site constantly for better time management on the projects.
