Summary We are looking for an inspiring, outgoing, and energetic individual to manage the day-to-day operations of the Front of House Lakeview Lodge Cafe , and Banquet services. You will exemplify, teach, and practice the Schweitzer culture of teamwork, hospitality, camaraderie, and incredible guest experiences.
Responsibilities - Manage all aspects of Front of House Lakeview Lodge Cafe , including staff supervision, scheduling, training, and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee s wedding and banquet services, from planning including linen and beverage ord er ing , setup , execution , clean up and financial close outs .
- Position requires availability on nights, weekends , and holidays.
- Ensure adherence to all Idaho State Health Codes and maintain high standards of food and service quality.
- Assist with ordering, inventory control, budgeting, and cost management alongside Lakeview and Banquet Chefs .
- Lead staff meetings, develop training materials, and enforce company policies.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and
- Attending weekly BEO and Group Sales meetings.
- Cash handling and cash register duties.
Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of general food and beverage experience, with 1 year of supervisory/management experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory & cash handling, inventory software, and POS systems a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age or older due to alcohol sales supervision.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word , Teams , Outlook ).
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred.

Physical Demands - Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently , bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach overhead.
- Work environment is primarily indoors, but may occasionally require working outdoors.
- Must be able to complete paperwork and perform standing/walking activities for extended periods.
Other Responsibilities - Must have extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and activities.
- Proactive with operational and company needs.
- Must obtain Idaho ABC certification.
- Ability to create and maintain service guidelines and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and develop job hazard analyses.
