Fleet Manager
Location: Woodinville, WA

This is a high-visibility, department-of-one role responsible for strategy, execution, and continuous optimization across approximately 250 vehicles operating in multiple states. The fleet is central to day-to-day operations, with technicians using vehicles as mobile storefronts while traveling directly to residential customers.
This role is ideal for a seasoned fleet leader who thrives in autonomous environments, is comfortable influencing without authority, and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations and local leadership to drive cost control, safety, compliance, and efficiency.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Fleet Strategy & Sourcing
- Own end-to-end fleet strategy from planning through execution
- Evaluate and manage vehicle sourcing, purchasing, and leasing strategies
- Support long-term fleet transition planning (e.g., vehicle type optimization)
- Partner with vendors and leasing partners to optimize cost and performance
Fleet Operations & Compliance
- Oversee vehicle registration, licensing, regulatory filings, and compliance across multiple states
- Manage vehicle branding, wraps, and required documentation
- Ensure consistent fleet standards and compliance across all locations
Telematics, Safety & Cost Optimization
- Own telematics strategy and vendor relationships
- Evaluate and consolidate platforms, leveraging data to improve safety and performance
- Use driving behavior, camera, and AI insights to reduce risk, fuel spend, maintenance costs, and downtime
- Drive initiatives focused on fuel efficiency, preventive maintenance, and safer driving behavior
Maintenance & Accident Management
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and repair coordination
- Act as point person for accident and claims management, including insurance coordination, repairs, recovery, and replacement
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain reporting on fleet costs, utilization, safety metrics, and performance
- Partner closely with local managers and operations leaders
- Operate primarily through data, systems, and influence rather than direct vehicle access
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Senior level fleet management experience
- Prior experience owning a fleet function independently
- Experience managing large, distributed fleets (200+ vehicles) across multiple states
- Background in home services, construction, or field services strongly preferred
- Experience managing non-CDL, work-heavy vehicles with tools, racking, and payload considerations
- Strong working knowledge of telematics platforms, fleet analytics, and safety systems
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments
- Highly organized, data-driven, and proactive problem solver
