Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee
Kent Youth and Family Services (KYFS) is hiring SUD Professional Trainee's to work at our main office in downtown Kent. Full-Time and Part-Time schedule available.
This position plays an integral part in assisting KYFS in meeting the needs of its clients and the community that it serves by providing ASAM assessment, diagnosis, and individual, group, family and case management treatment services to youth and families in an outpatient/school-based setting.
Must have Washington State SUDPT Credentials
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered with the State of Washington as a Substance Use Disorder Professional/ Trainee in good standing.
- One or more years’ experience working with youth & families in individual, family and group settings.
- Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Satisfactory completion of Washington State Criminal background check.
- Commitment to serving adolescents and families and building a strong clinical program.
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Experience with working with the EHR system Credible, preferred
- Must be able to work evenings as needed to meet client needs.
