What You'll Do:
As our TACCO, you will join our incredible team of technical experts supporting NAVAIR's PMA-290 Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Program for the P-8A baseline and Increment 3 Block 2 Combat Systems programs. In this role, you will conduct software and hardware integration and test and provide PMA-290 leadership with in-depth analysis and operational feedback on critical mission capabilities.
This position is based in Kent, WA with some flexibility for telework. Travel to Patuxent River, MD will be required for training.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing expert knowledge on the latest P-8A sensors, mission systems, and combat systems (I3B2) hardware/software
Identifying and reporting software defects and analyzing the defect priority level based on mission impact, operator workload, and stability
Conducting (in)formal functional and system-level testing of P-8A mission and combat systems in various labs
Reviewing and providing feedback on formal functional and system-level test procedures against program software requirements and operational objectives
Analyzing and summarizing results of independent sensor and integrated system-level tests in the form of written reports and oral briefings
Interacting with fleet operators and system developers to help identify software and hardware improvements that will increase the effectiveness of the P-8A baseline and combat systems hardware and software
Analyzing data to assist with the development of training materials that emphasizes the differences between fleet release software and hardware
Potential for P-8A production and acceptance aircraft test ground and in-fight responsibilities
Additional duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the program office
This position will require some travel

Requirements
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree is required. With no degree, additional years of related experience may be substituted.
7 years of Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance operational experience is required, 9+ years is desired
3 years of operational experience as a US Navy MPRA Tactical Coordinator (TACCO/COTAC/SEVAL) is required
Must be experienced in all facets of ASW, ASuW, CSG Support, and ISR including coordination, mission planning, mission execution, tactics, and post-flight
MPRWS Instructor/WTI preferred
DoD Acquisition and/or VX test experience preferred
Minotaur expertise preferred
SIGINT expertise preferred
NATOPS TACCO/SEVAL instructor/evaluator preferredP-8A NTOPS qualification pre and P-8A Aircrew qualifications (medical upchit, swim qual, etc), preferred

Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position will be $115,000 - $130,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. This range is given as an estimate and may vary based on contractual constraints. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
