We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Intelligent Grid Solutions team. The Intelligent Grid Solutions team helps our clients:
Clarify energy delivery operational strategy and technology requirements
Assess and integrate emerging digital operational and information technologies
Leverage their information assets to uncover new insights
Enable enhanced situational awareness for utility operations
Fully leverage their smart meter and other advance technology investments
Identify and prioritize security and data protection risks
This position will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice. Sample projects could include Grid modernization technology roadmaps, requirements gathering and documentation, process improvement and change management, IT/OT integration, and execution strategies, smart grid technology deployment, and business use case creation and evaluation.
The Senior Consultant will partner with our clients as a trusted advisor. Specifically, they will bring industry domain experience to the client, provide a technology-agnostic point of view, and help execute on a variety of projects which include:
Business case development
Strategic roadmap creation
Process improvement and change management
Program management
Technology assessment and procurement
Use case creation and requirements gathering
Responsibilities
Lead project teams to deliver on time and budget
Act as an individual contributor when needed
Gather and analyze data for project deliverables
Conduct workshops
Deliver presentations to all levels of organizations
Creation of project deliverables
Manage client expectations
Support business development activities
Qualifications
Excellent written, verbal communication skills
Utility grid operations knowledge, breadth, and depth
Collaborative nature and willing to share knowledge across broader team while contributing to reusable collateral
Mentor and develop other resources on the team
Clear and timely communication internally and externally
Ability to interact with the Client team, including project sponsors and other stakeholders
Looks for ways to improve the delivery process, reduce issues/rework, and improve customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or university is required. MBA is a plus
Minimum 6 years of experience in a team-based professional environment
Demonstrated credentials in two or more of the following areas:
Grid Modernization Programs
Utility process improvement
Enterprise change management
Operational Technologies (Distributed Energy Resource Management System, Demand Response Management System, Outage Management System, Advanced Distribution Management System, Work Management, Automated Metering Infrastructure, or Energy Management Systems)
Utility business financials
Smart Grid Programs
Strong client-facing skills
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
Ability to serve across multiple projects
Prosci Change Management certification
Travel:
Up to 25% of travel

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
USD $168,536.00 - USD $205,988.00 /Yr.
