General Description: |
A full or part time position, the Energy Services Participant Intake Specialist will field incoming participant calls and, as applicable, register them into the Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP). The Intake Specialist plays a crucial role in the success of our energy efficiency program by serving as the first point of contact for participants. This position involves managing initial participant interactions, gathering essential information, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and participant-focused. |
Key Responsibilities: |
- Participant Interaction: Engage with participants via phone to provide information about the energy efficiency program and answer any initial questions.
- Data Collection: Accurately collect and record participant information per program specifications.
- Program Process: Understand and clearly communicate program process.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments for energy assessments and final inspections.
- Participant Support: Provide ongoing support to participants throughout the program process in a polite, helpful, and professional manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including energy auditors and program managers, to ensure a seamless experience.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications |
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or energy efficiency is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, intake coordination, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with data entry.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to promoting sustainable energy practices.
- Spanish Speaking: 3% premium for bilingual Spanish proficiency
