Analyzes problems and performs all duties necessary to overhaul, repair, and, maintain city equipment, including standard and specialized gasoline and diesel vehicles, ER&R maintained vehicles and maintenance equipment.

Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED plus two years of specialized training in automotive and/or heavy equipment systems repair and four years of progressively responsible experience as a vehicle mechanic, or any combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job.
Valid Washington State driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required. Must have CDL endorsement.
