Job DescriptionSchedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30PM - 11:30PM.
As a Manufacturing Supervisor, a typical day might include the following:
* Responsible for department indicators and providing clear direction to department to meet department production objectives.
* Understand upstream and downstream departments to ensure accurate communication and appropriate product flow.
* Monitor employee performance, regularly provide employee feedback, empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals.
* Responsible for driving employee engagement and positively and accurately communicating change.
* Responsible for assessing employee training needs and providing/overseeing training.
* Actively and effectively address personnel issues and settle differences equitably and productively.
* Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions and reports.
* Provide input into staffing and capital needs through the collection and reporting of data.
* Promote safety standards to others and assist in implementing safety initiatives.
* Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
* Understand. Create. Simplify.
* Other duties as assigned.
This job may be for you if you have:
* 2+ years of supervisory experience.
* Demonstrated ability to model SEL Values to others.
* Proven ability to communicate professionally, respectfully and openly to a diverse audience.
* Proven ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work; intervene to remove obstacles as needed.
* Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow for up and downstream departments.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.).
* Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
* Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
* Negative drug test result(s).
Preferred Qualifications:
* College degree (BS or BA)
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)

Pay Range Data:
We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. The salary range for this position is between $58,200 and $91,200 annually. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
