POSITION SUMMARY:
The person in this role will be a member of the Milliman, Global Corporate Services (GCS) team and is responsible for supporting the GCS IT team and leadership for a variety of defined tasks. This person will report to the CIO and will support current goals and initiatives by assisting team members with projects on an as-needed basis, as well as assisting the other GCS departments with coordination and management of activities and projects. This person will maintain a helpful attitude and work collaboratively with team members across departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support a variety of special projects and initiatives for the CIO, ensuring timely project completion
Take ownership of projects and new initiatives, from research and validation to transitioning to functional ownership
Build and run the cadence of management meetings, track developments, events and minutes and required communications across
Coordinate internal and external meetings, set up conference calls and in-house training/meetings and associated logistics
Support the CIO and other GCS leaders with committee agendas, gathering content, and other such needs
Assist local senior management with development of reports, presentations, and key communications
Work and collaborate with diverse practices and corporate support functions and teams
Work with team members to handle corporate support issues as they arise
Maintain team calendar; coordinate on-call rotation as needed
Post job opportunities and coordinate interview schedules
Manage onboarding new team members and offboarding exiting team members
Coordinate team events such as staff meetings, celebrations, other events as needed
Coordinate office/desk moves as needed
Organize and maintain logistics of business travel, manage calendars, and expense reports
Provide support and backup as needed with respect to invoice processing, software and hardware allocation tracking, and other financial/budget support activities
Manage a telecom website, keeping information updated, managing vendors, and supporting internal users
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of administrative experience with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility.
The ideal candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
The ideal candidate must have experience with SharePoint applications.
The ideal candidate must have experience with using a help desk tool.
The ideal candidate must have experience with using web conferencing such as MS- TEAMS, Zoom and Webex to mention a few.
Must have high attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
Must be an efficient resource with strong organizational skills.
Must be resourceful, service-oriented, dependable, maintain confidence, tactful, team player.
Must be strong verbal and written communication skills, including document editing.
Must have proven ability to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
Must have demonstrated problem-solving ability.
Must have the ability to prioritize and work with multiple interruptions.
Must have enthusiastic, helpful attitude with a willingness to learn.
LOCATION:
The person hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in Seattle, WA; this is a hybrid role where the person is expected to work out of Seattle office atleast three times a week. The expected application deadline for this job is July 30th, 2024.
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this role is $64,000 to $98,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
