Position DescriptionPosition Summary
The Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager in organizing marketing materials, updating internal resumes, creating content, and completing projects timely. Flexible schedule is available, working up to 15-20 hours per week.
Essential Functions
- Organize marketing materials including:
- Photos – Download project photos from Procore
- Photo organization – Create tagging system for photo library and organize current database.
- Proposal Library – Create naming system and tags for existing proposal responses.
- MWBE/DEI information.
- Net Zero information.
- Update Resumes:
- Gather updated details for employee resumes including detailed descriptions of employee qualifications, and their contributions/what roles they played on projects.
- Update project resumes with relevant details, lessons learned, contract details.
- Other duties as assigned:
- Content creation
- Bidding support
- Errands
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability in Adobe programs including InDesign.
- Knowledge of marketing, specifically in the construction industry.
- Experience with photography.
- Experience with Social Media management for a company/corporation/brand a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Ability to speak and write clearly and articulate using proper grammar.
- Ability to maintain a good attendance record and arrive on time.
- Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Position RequirementsEducation and/or Experience
- Current student majoring in Marketing or Design; experience in commercial construction is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
