Position: Staff Technical Program Manager

Duties: Define and champion best practices across the software team. Communicate program vision, roadmap, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), performance, and recommendations to senior leadership. Represent the overarching portfolio with all stakeholders. Provide inputs and insights for each component and workstream. Provide input for the product strategy in a rapidly evolving environment and help inform the roadmap and future vision. Lead the global roll-out of new features and initiatives across platforms. Challenge internal and other teams to scale ideas and think big. Create solutions that are impactful, effective, and scalable. Collaborate with product managers to create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for new product ideas. Constantly establish and lead operating processes and tools to effectively manage the portfolio. Lead technical discussions, be a subject matter expert, and have strategic influence. Translate product roadmaps into integrated high-level plans that are aligned with the business goals of the programs and that are aligned with roadmaps of underlying cross-functional engineering teams. Facilitate the effective flow of new asks from the business. Apply prioritization and change management principles effectively, with minimal disruption to roadmaps. Capture technical and functional requirements and prioritize user stories in the product backlog using Rally and Jira. Facilitate the Scrum framework, including implementing sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Oversee product deployments into pre-production. Oversee the rollout of product deployments into production. Collaborate with clients from concept through final delivery of the product or service. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computational Science, or related field and 3 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computational Science, or related field and 5 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
Skills required: Experience creating technical requirement documents that outline high level architecture and technical components of the system. Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and Pub/Sub Event notifications via Event Bus and domain interactions using Java and NodeJS. Experience developing schemas and WSDL transformations to read, enhance, and process incoming data and map the data to E-business Suite Web Service Schemas using the Altova XMLSpy and JSON Editor. Experience analyzing, designing, and implementing the architecture of SOA microservices with REST API. Experience implementing services and APIs for web applications and mobile applications. Experience managing the implementation of new features and epics by outlining plans and specifications using Rally. Experience enhancing data gathering, extraction, and analysis for diverse workflows and procedures using MySQL. Experience implementing SOA (Search Oriented Architecture) concepts. Experience implementing search engine based techniques. Experience developing schemas and XSLT transformations to read, enhance, and process incoming data and map the data to E-business Suite Web Service Schemas. Experience tracking and reporting software design phases and creations of ISDs, FSDs, and tracking artifacts. Experience proposing technical feasibility solutions for new functional designs and suggesting options for performance improvement of technical objects using design and architecture principles. Experience using Rally and JIRA to create epics, user stories, and facilitate scrum framework, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Experience conducting GAP Analysis on existing systems to identify changes needed in legacy modernization projects. Experience analyzing customer requirements and the nature of the function and then defining XSD schemas for the RESTful Services and Web Services. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $137,654/year to $264,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
