Requisition Summary
The Human Resources Manager, in partnership with one direct report, provides HR support to business leaders, administers HR programs and policies, and provides excellent customer service to PACCAR Leasing Company (PacLease) and selected Corporate Departments in the U.S. and Canada. This role is critical in delivering HR results in the areas of Talent Management, Engagement, Rewards, Retention, Training, Development and Organizational effectiveness.
This position is located in Bellevue, Washington and reports to the Human Resources Director.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Management
Partner with the PacLease and Corporate department Leadership to understand and execute the organization's talent strategy through recruiting, retention, and succession planning
Lead the annual performance appraisal and employee development process
Develop and execute action plans from executive and division-wide succession plans to ensure participation by employees in six-sigma, internal audit, internal/external training programs, special projects and other development opportunities to accomplish individual and division goals
Partner with Corporate centralized recruiting to fulfill business internal and external recruiting needs
Engagement, Rewards & Retention
Lead division executive and employee compensation programs to be administered effectively through communicating, training, and partnering with management on final recommendations
Partner with management and the compensation department to ensure competitive pay. Analyze compensation and benefits trends to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
Evaluate employee programs, analyze exit surveys, and force report statistics to ensure plans are in place to address employee retention
Create and implement engagement and retention strategies
Analyze Employee Engagement Survey data and facilitate action planning
Training & Development
Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
Ensure division training requirements are achieved
Recommend employee development opportunities such as leadership development programs, mentoring, 360 evaluations, etc.
HR Effectiveness
Understand business goals and recommend HR approaches, policies, and procedures to achieve and continuously improve business and people objectives
Lead continuous improvement projects
Investigate and conclude employee relations investigations
Ensure HR practices are compliant with Internal Audit standards
Ensure technology is employed to accomplish HR results
Effectively lead HR for employees throughout the U.S. and Canada
Provide guidance to managers on a variety of HR topics including employment law, leave administration, performance management
Participate in global HR continuous improvement initiatives
Manage and mentor HR Staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
Minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience.
Prior experience successfully leading, coaching and mentoring business leaders on HR-related topics.
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written/verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
Excels in an environment with changing priorities.
Proficient MS Office skills. SAP is a plus.
MBA desired. PHR or SPHR certification desired.
