EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Candidate should have 1 year of experience or more in one of the following categories: supervising volunteers or working within a non-profit organization.
Minimum requirement is a High School diploma or equivalent.
Additionally, two years of non-profit work experience is preferred.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Corps Officer, the Food Pantry Coordinator oversees the operations of the foodbank, including but not limited to supervision and coordination of food bank volunteers, purchasing and restocking of food pantry items, cost and quality control, coordination of food delivery program, monthly statistics and reports as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains food pantry inventory by placing orders with vendors as well as purchasing food and non-food items from local stores.
Trains, schedules and provides daily supervision of food pantry volunteers.
Coordinates food delivery program, including but not limited to driving the bread pickup route for the foodbank.
Assures that units of service are recorded in client database.
Updates and modifies food pantry menu as needed.
Packs foodbank orders and stocks shelves as needed.
Responsible for implementing food pantry policies and procedures.
Attend Foodbank Coalition Meetings
Coordinate with Corps Officer for annual Foodbank Fundraisers including but not limited to Walk & Knock, local food drives
All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility: Supervises foodbank volunteers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on a continuous basis
Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead
Ability to operate telephone
Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to access and produce information from a computer
Ability to understand written information

Retirement Plans: Employer-funded Money Purchase Pension Plan (Defined Contribution Plan) 50% vested at 5 years eligible service time, employee funded voluntary 403(b) options
Parental Leave: Benefit will be one week (5 business days) of paid leave at the employee's normal rate of pay for births, adoptions and foster placements.
Sick Leave: 12 days annually accruing from day one, eligible for use after 3 months' service time.
Paid Vacation: 2 weeks annually accruing from day one, for non-exempt positions. 4 weeks annually accruing from day one, for exempt positions. Accrued vacation eligible for use after 6 months' service time.
Paid Holidays: 13 designated holidays + 1 floating holiday per year
