Health Services Coordinator - REMOTE Position for Occupational Medicine Department, employed by Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA
This is a fully remote position with occasional in-person work required at medical facilities within the State of Washington. Qualified candidates can be located anywhere within the State of Washington.
Strongly prefer qualified candidates based in Western Washington (counties such as Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King, Pierce, Lewis, Skamania, Clark) or in Eastern Washington cities such as Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, Yakima, Walla Walla, and/or Ellensburg.
Under the general direction of the COHE Manager, the Health Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in the COHE by working directly with injured workers, employers, health care providers, and other program participants to coordinate care and return-to-work activities for injured workers.

Shift Details: Supplemental/Per Diem, Day Shift
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent degree and 3 years' experience in direct patient care, return-to-work coordination, occupational health care, or equivalent experience OR 7 years' experience in direct patient care, return-to-work coordination, occupational health care, or equivalent experience (direct patient care includes nurse, medical assistant, nurse navigators, and existing care coordinators, but does not include referral coordinators, schedulers, or clinical administrative staff).
Upon hire, one must successfully complete L&I required training and testing.
Experience in oral and written communication with health care professionals, patients, employers, insurance staff and resources. Data management and tracking. Completing care coordination or similar documentation. Analyzing and communicating provider, care coordinator, and best practice reporting data.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
Experience as a vocational counselor, nurse case manager, accredited case manager working with injured workers in an industrial insurance system or health care setting, or equivalent experience in a health care setting such as a physical therapist or occupational therapist.

Bilingual in English and Spanish
