Ocean Spray is looking for a collaborative and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department at our Markham, WA plant, ensuring that equipment is performing at peak performance standards to meet our current and future customer needs. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with the operations and engineering teams to achieve results and play a key role in the success of our plant!
Located in western Washington, our Markham plant makes delicious sweetened dried cranberries, better known as Craisins. Whether you want a view of the Pacific Ocean or the Olympic mountains, this is a beautiful place to live and work. For the right candidate, relocation assistance may be available.
A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Manager:
As part of the site leadership team, you will drive results by leading others. You will:
Provide for the timely and proper maintenance of the processing and packaging equipment and the physical plant and utilities of the facility, on either an emergency or planned basis to minimize production lost time
Direct the activities of various skilled employees by assigning work, monitoring those assignments, and inspecting the repairs made
Participate in the planning and the implementation of capital, extraordinary maintenance, and routine maintenance budgets
Perform daily and weekly inspection of facility equipmentto ensure smooth operations
Delegate maintenance issues to appropriate personnel for effective resolution
Maintain accurate records of maintenance operations and present reports of daily activities
Maintain appropriate relationships to attain the goals of productivity, safety, cost, and quality
Support and promote food safety and quality program initiatives within the plant environment
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration, facility management or closely related field and 8-10 years' experience in relatedfield
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
Knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Systems
Knowledge of fiscal budgeting principles and practices
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to lead and manage projects.
Familiarity with food processing and packaging equipment
Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.
Strong Organizational skills
Computer skills (MS Office)
Supervisory/Management skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal skills
Troubleshooting and ability to roll up sleeves and figure out problems while offering solutions.

Annual Salary:
$92,900 - $127,700
The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.
