We are looking for an energetic, organized, hardworking, detail-oriented team player to join our Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing team with the planning and launch of zak product lines. This position will provide administrative coordination with various marketing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Marketing:
- Maintains documents including catalogs, price lists, promotional programs, and other literature as needed
- Utilizes a project management system to create product packaging tasks and gain internal approvals leading to production
- Maintains product image database
- Sends and receives product samples, both internally and externally
- Assists Marketing team as needed with market research projects
- Contributes ideas for product names, packaging copy and promotes brand consistency
- Other duties as assigned
Social Media
- Schedules meetings and tasks to ensure timely planning and execution of media development
- Maintains short and long-term planning documents for social media development
- Prepares onsite and offsite photo shoot needs including purchasing props, gathering products, and organizing model and site availability
- Maintains the photo room and prop storage area
Merchandising:
- Develops a basic knowledge of corrugation and promotional display configurations, test-fits displays when needed
- Sets up display item numbers and display components
- Assists with the creation and maintenance of retail merchandising spreadsheets
- Utilizes a project management system to create new merchandiser options and provides Production Team with guidance as needed
- Understands customer requirements

- Education and/or Experience: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively interact in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the company.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent computer skills with Outlook, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Strong communication skills with planning and implementation abilities. Experience with project management systems is beneficial.
