The Plant Performance Excellence Manager is a highly visible role within the plant leadership team and has tremendous growth opportunities within the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the plant's operational efficiencies, improving business performance, reducing costs, and organizational culture change. You will support cost growth and productivity initiatives, develop sustainable best practices, and support activities that exceed target metrics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and institutionalize continuous improvement methods by deploying the Ocean Spray Manufacturing System (OSMS).
A Day in the Life...
Identify plant performance improvement opportunities (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale)
Perform process studies, data collection, and cost analysis to quantify business impact and create opportunity pipelines
Prioritize PE projects based on business needs and data alignment
Lead Kaizen initiatives for critical performance improvement projects (Throughput, Downtime, Yield, Changeover, Cleaning, Startup, etc.) and foundation-building efforts using Ocean Spray Manufacturing (OSMS) methodologies
Execute plant Cost Savings (CSI) projects to meet or exceed the target
Execute site-specific Ocean Spray Manufacturing System elements with linkage to ops performance improvement
Teach and mentor plant frontline associates about problem-solving mindset, tools, and techniques
Serve as a change agent for developing organic Kaizen culture at the plant through cross functional team meetings focused on efficiency improvement and cost savings projects
Support manufacturing networkwide standardization efforts and share best practices
Support other duties as needed and directed
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Food/Beverage/Pharmaceutical or related industry, with 1+ in a supervisor or manager role
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Food Science, or equivalent experience
Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations with dedication to the concepts of continuous improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Access database functions and/or Minitab or other statistical analysis software
Ability to manage multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work cross-functionally in team environment and at various organizational levels
Excellent facilitation, training, and presentation skills
Statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated project management experience
Education:
Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred)

At least 5 Years of Experience
Annual Salary:
$92,900 - $127,700
The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.
