About the Team
As a member of our diverse and skilled North America Solution Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.

About the Role
This is your chance to lead a world class Solution Consulting Team focused on Workday Student and responsible for selling to prospects and customers in the North American Higher Education market. You will be aided and surrounded by some of the best and brightest people in the higher education industry. Our people believe in the power of our Student solution and the incredible benefits Workday can deliver for institutions of higher learning. As the manager of the Student Solution Consulting team, you will be key to furthering Workday's position as a leader in this space. You will mentor a team, advise sales strategy, oversee the performance and delivery in support of our sales and solution consulting organizational goals.
In addition to sales opportunity support, you will assist your team in growing their careers, and set the strategy and execution plan for your business. A key focus area for every solution consulting leader at Workday is to mentor and guide our team. Together, we will ensure the continual advancement of each team member in both skills and knowledge, enabling them to guide Workday's customers to outstanding academic and business outcomes.

This is a dynamic position and frequent travel will be required up to 50%.

About You
Basic Qualifications:
Manager, Solution Consulting
- 5+ years in a sales-related role (sales, presales, value management, customer success, etc.) selling enterprise software
- 2+ years of experience leading people and/or mentoring colleagues on sales opportunity strategy
- 2+ years direct experience with the higher education industry.
Sr. Manager, Solution Consulting
- 7+ years in a sales-related role (sales, presales, value management, customer success, etc.) selling enterprise software
- 4+ years of experience leading people and/or mentoring colleagues on sales opportunity strategy
- 4+ years direct experience with the higher education industry.
Other Qualifications
- Preferred experience with Student/SIS domain expertise preferably in enterprise functions such as enrollment management, records & curriculum management, advising & student success, financial aid, student financials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Awareness of the competitive landscape for enterprise software in the higher education market
- Ability to lead executive level presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Consistent achievement or overachievement of assigned goals and targets
- Success in coaching coworkers in ways that allowed them to learn new skills and achieve career goals
- Collaborative with those in other roles to work towards shared goals
- A history of using data to support your decision-making process

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $141,300 USD - $212,000 USD
Additional CAN Location(s) Base Pay Range: $137,100 - $205,500 CAD
