We are seeking a seasoned Senior Embedded Engineer to join our dynamic team in Redmond, Washington. Partnered with a renowned technical professional services firm, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing firmware modules and conducting system-level debugging. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement firmware modules to meet project requirements.
- Conduct system-level debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware/firmware-related issues.
- Utilize hardware debugging tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG, Flash emulators, and ICE during the firmware development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components.
- Implement hardware/firmware security primitives to enhance system security.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of technical engineering experience, with a focus on embedded systems.
- Proficiency in coding languages including C, C++, and Python.
- Demonstrable expertise in embedded FW architecture and debugging.
- Strong problem-solving skills for modern multiprocessor systems.
- Experience with peripherals such as PCIe, memory interfaces, and OS primitives.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with JTAG, oscilloscopes, and other hardware debugging tools.
- Familiarity with firmware development and debugging processes.
- Knowledge of USB, PCI Express, SPI, and I2C protocols.
- Experience with system-level programming, scheduling, and threading.
