At Ginger Pop, we bring a sense of fun and adventure to our everyday Thai cooking and are delighted to share it with our customers. Moreover, TripAdvisor ranks us #3 out of the 23 Thai restaurants in the Vancouver area. Our Thai Specialty Cook will have the following responsibilities:
- Cook authentic Thai foods following our recipes by applying an understanding of Thai cuisine;
- Be able to handle preparing multiple delicious Thai dishes under time pressure;
- Assist the Executive Chef in creating new and exciting menus.
- Prepare a variety of types of authentic Thai pastes, marinating sauces, and dipping sauce for specialty dishes;
- Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met;
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety; and
- Check stock levels and order supplies.
SALARY: $57,408/ year
REQUIREMENTS: 24 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2 years of experience in Thai cooking).
