SUMMARY:
Provide administrative and client support to the Senior Investment Executive. Provide account information and documentation assistance to clients, including new account forms, application submission and processing transactions. Work closely with Investment Executive to promote Riverview Bank and Riverview Asset Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepare and ensure new business paperwork processes successfully, which may include preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, proof reading and preparing documentation to send to home office.
- Data entry of new clients into Contact Management system and directly with the Broker Dealer
- Maintain retention records required by the Broker Dealer.
- Interact with clients via telephone, email and in person for account servicing and ongoing client relations.
- Provide necessary follow-up of paperwork with the Broker Dealer and direct sponsors
- Acts as primary liaison between the branch and back office to assist Investment Executive
- Provide administration assistance and data entry used to maintain client accounts including Microsoft Office Suite, Redtail CRM, Excel, Word, NetX360, and Adobe Acrobat.
- If Series 7 Licensed; Assist financial advisors with providing efficient, timely and quality service to clients; Act as a contact between branch and back office on operational issues; Help to ensure compliance with firm & regulatory policies; Perform cashiering duties; Act as primary technical liaison between the branch and back office to provide technology solutions to meet branch business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
AA and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Riverview employees with five or more years of service with Riverview (or in banking or finance) are eligible to apply. Series 6 or 7, series 63 and/or Life, Accident and Health licenses preferred but not required. Prior experience in the Financial Services, banking and/or Insurance industry is preferred. Experience with Redtail CRM and NetX360 is preferred.
SKILLS:
- Must be a self-starter and work independently with little or no direct supervision.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to run reports and write business correspondence and follow procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and customers in a professional manner.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in client service situations on a daily basis.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Requires intermediate skills associated with the use of computers and other office equipment.
- The ability to offer flexibility in a dynamic work environment is imperative.

The starting pay rate for an Investment Services Assistant is $24.00.
