As the VPC, you will be the driving force behind growth initiatives, overseeing operations, and contributing to the development of a resilient and forward-thinking work culture. Responsibilities
Spearhead the strategic direction and operations of the consulting divisions, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Champion the implementation of the Dade Moeller Quality Management System, driving continuous improvement and exceeding client expectations.
Empower and coach consulting managers to deliver exceptional service, ensure on-time project completion, and achieve ambitious goals.
Partner with key stakeholders to craft a comprehensive strategic plan for the consulting division, targeting X% market share expansion within Y years.
Leverage financial analysis to optimize resource allocation, achieve cost savings of Z%, and maximize budget utilization for growth initiatives.
Conduct data-driven performance appraisals for consulting managers, identifying development opportunities and propelling team performance by W%.
Lead the proposal development process from client identification to final submission, securing high-value projects and exceeding revenue targets.
Proactively expand the client base by identifying and pursuing lucrative opportunities in targeted markets.
Nurture and strengthen existing client relationships, building trust and driving repeat business.
Provide expert technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring successful project outcomes and exceeding satisfaction.
Demonstrate exceptional adaptability and resilience, thriving under pressure to meet critical deadlines and overcome unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a technical field related to health physics, safety, industrial hygiene, or equivalent demonstrated experience, with a preference for expertise in Health Physics.
Over 20 years of comprehensive experience in management, technical services, and programmatic roles.
Proven ability to collaboratively engage with all functional support areas and business units within NV5.
Possess deep financial acumen, showcasing previous experience in managing a P&L with strategic planning and implementation expertise.
Exceptional communicator, adept at effective communication both upwards and downwards throughout the organization.
Demonstrated capability to motivate individuals towards achieving established business and sales objectives, fostering a culture of achievement and professionalism.
Proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.
Recognized ability to identify operational efficiencies and implement improvements.
Serve as a professional representative of the firm and the leadership team, both internally and externally.
Exhibit personal accountability and promote accountability within the team.
The pay range for this Washington position is $170,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year; based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. NV5 may provide restricted stock units, sign-on bonuses, stay bonuses, or relocation allowances as part of the compensation package. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are also offered to full-time employees, along with Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts, with employee and employer contributions. 3 weeks of Paid Time Off a year for full-time employees along with 8 paid holidays a year. 401(k) savings plan; Company Paid Basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance; Company Paid Short-term and long-term disability insurance are also provided.
