A Enterprise Project Management Business Analyst Intern for our 2024 Summer Internship Program! This is an entry-level position in our Enterprise Project Management department. In this internship, under direct supervision of the VP of EPMO, the Intern will learn the fundamentals of Project Management and Business Analysis, exposing them to the daily routines and procedures of the department. Business Analysts play an integral role throughout the lifecycle of a project by helping define the scope, gathering the business requirements and documenting the process, to creating test scripts and managing the testing followed by go-live and after go-live activities. Additionally, you will gain a foundational understanding the skills and competencies that are essential for individual and organizational success, as well as be provided learning opportunities to better understand the Credit Union's business operations and composition.

As a Enterprise Project Management Business Analyst Intern you will...
Collaborate with internal teams to understand, define, and document end-user and business requirements for new and existing processes, systems and solutions; develop use cases; translate business requirements into technology project specifications. Support the delivery of solutions that meet project objectives and business requirements as defined by stakeholders and users. Develop and support testing for projects and follow Sound's testing methodology.
Assist in vendor evaluation and vendor selection.
Document as-is processes and help design to-be processes as part of the initial analysis when scoping out projects. Participate in and sometimes lead internal teams through process review; develop and document a holistic view of programs and processes with global process maps for the current state and desired state; create lean procedures and processes that work well for end users, product owners and product managers.
Assist in identifying and assessing impacts to personnel, systems, or processes and address these throughout the project. Identify risks to projects and plan mitigations.
Assist in creating test scripts and guide users through User Acceptance Testing for any new systems or modifications being implemented under supervision of a project manager or business analyst.
Facilitate communication amongst project teams and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
With guidance by a project manager or business analyst, work with Training and Development staff and other key stakeholders to participate in the development of training to staff.
Schedule and prepare for (large) meetings including agendas, tasks, topics etc.
Take notes during meetings.
Document and draft process steps and requirements by meeting with individuals and groups.
Follow up on tasks and action items that have been assigned to project team members and ensure delivery of tasks or escalation if tasks can't be completed.
Complete tasks and project activities timely and accurately as assigned.
Actively participate in meetings and training programs as required.
Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, instant messages, and aid as necessary.
Perform clerical duties, maintain files (paper or electric), and organize documents (paper or electric); scan, photocopy, fax, etc. as needed.
Create and organize department documents and reports, as requested.
Meet regularly with Manager to provide status of Learning Plan and Objectives; provide final report at end of internship term.

Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates, which allows us to offer merit-based salary increases.
Minimum: $20.00
Midpoint: $22.00
Maximum: $24.00
Your hours:
Our interns can work anywhere form 20 - 40 hours a week depending on your availability and our team's needs. A typical schedule for this role is hybrid, Monday - Friday: 8 am - 4:30 pm.
In your role you will have the ability to combine in-person and remote work.
