The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Quality Assurance Program Manager to our growing Energy division. Some responsibilities you will have include:
Work to achieve the McKinstry quality assurance vision through the lens/construct of the ISO9001:2015 Standard.
Develop the annual Quality Assurance Plan per the guidance outlined in the Quality Assurance Program. Coordinate the annual Quality Assurance Plan with the stakeholders and subject matter experts from the various lines of business.
Work with the E&TS Quality Assurance Advisory Group to set priorities for the program and regularly review program progress. In addition, conduct regular reviews of the health of the Quality Management System with senior management.
Coordinate cross-functional teams within the scope of the Quality Assurance Program to conduct Quality Assurance Reviews per the annual plan. In addition, actively support and drive the Enterprise Program Safety Quality Assurance Review Process.
Develop, coordinate, and monitor to completion all corrective action plans for programs that are found to be non-compliant with McKinstry standards. Track and report out on Quality Assurance Review results, to include corrective action/preventative action (CAPA) plan progress and overall program status.
Maintain quality and reliability standards by evaluating current and proposed processes for possible improvement opportunities to ensure cross-functional team alignment.
Coordinate and maintain Quality Assurance Program documents, to include policy, procedures, and associated tools, templates and forms.
Conduct quality assurance meetings with various size audiences to communicate program goals. Develop supporting materials for these presentations to match audience experience and meeting objectives.
Facilitate pre-work risk management and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) reviews. Conduct post-work lessons learned/causal factors reviews.
As a member of the Operations Excellence team, communicate operational excellence initiatives to various size audiences throughout the organization.
Work with Operational Excellence supporting team members across the Enterprise, Lines of Business, and Corporate Service Units, and assist in the development of all-department operations, training and communication plans.
Provide coaching and training across the regions throughout the US to support business unit quality control objectives and goals in alignment with our line of business vision.
Train team members on the Quality Assurance Review and Standards Development Processes.
Train team members in the fundamentals of Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, and the ISO 9001 standard.
Is committed to making McKinstry a world class organization. Liaise with external world-class standardization organizations and seek peer input on progress of McKinstry quality assurance efforts.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Bachelor's Degree required (a degree in construction management, engineering, computer science, math, statistics, or similar quantitative field is preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy construction and/or building services space.
Minimum three (3) years of quality assurance experience required.
Minimum two (2) years of team and/or project management experience required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in technical writing preferred.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with people at all levels across the organization.
Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to lead diverse project teams.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Outlook and Visio required.
Experience in Project Management, to include PMI certification, preferred.
Experience in LEAN Construction preferred.
Lean Belt Certification
Working knowledge and understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard and it's application
ASQ Certification
OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Certification Preferred
Ability and willingness to travel nationally (15%).

The pay range for this position is $72,090 - $119,300 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
