What we are looking for:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic technology summer interns to join our dynamic team. The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within our technology teams, which encompass a diverse range of areas including healthcare data analytics, technology and product services. By working alongside seasoned professionals, interns will contribute to meaningful projects that drive innovation within our organization.

What you will do:
Below are examples of technical projects and responsibilities you may be involved in during your internship:
Assisting in Digital Transformation Efforts for Client Migrations:
Collaborate with technology team to support clients in their digital transformation journey.
Gain hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Interact with MedInsight's application in an Azure-based environment to validate and refactor solutions.
Write code in SQL or Python to validate or complete use cases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Potentially work in Power BI's backend to develop new data models that address specific client use cases, enhancing data visualization and reporting capabilities.
Working on Azure Pipeline for Data Ingestion:
Gain exposure to Azure pipelines and learn about data ingestion processes.
Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring data pipelines for efficient and reliable data ingestion.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Evaluating Potential ML Models for Use Cases:
Participate in the evaluation of machine learning models for specific use cases.
Gain insights into the machine learning lifecycle, including data preprocessing, model selection, training, evaluation, and deployment.
If familiar with machine learning, contribute to basic proof-of-concept projects, applying algorithms to real-world datasets and analyzing results.
Categorizing and Organizing Large Databases:
Work on categorizing large databases, understanding their structure and context within the healthcare domain.
Create client-facing documentation to communicate database structures, data dictionaries, and best practices for data usage.
Gain proficiency in SQL and database management systems while ensuring data quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in other data analytic projects as needed, applying analytical skills to derive insights and support decision-making processes.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Curious, attentive to detail, and desirous of applying training to practical, complex, and real-world issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java or others.
Familiarity with concepts and tools related to data analytics, including ETL processes, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
Exposure to cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with little supervision.
Demonstrates strong interest in healthcare market.
Strong problem solving, analytical skills and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Prior internship or project experience in technology-related roles is desirable.
Educational Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program preferably in computer science, information technology, data analytics, data science, engineering, or related field.
Compensation and Location:
The hourly range is $18 to $34, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. This role can work remotely anywhere in the US.
