Job Summary:
The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking applicants for an Undergraduate/Graduate Services Administrator for the College. This position will provide oversight and coordination for undergraduate and graduate retention and recruitment activities within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS).
The position will report to the Executive Assistant to the Dean and will provide support to the Dean, Associate Deans, College Finance Officer, and the Executive Assistant. This position will provide oversight and coordination for undergraduate and graduate retention and recruitment activities within CAHSS. The position will serve as a resource in conjunction with College office personnel, departments, and programs on the development of integrated marketing retention and recruitment plans. The position will work closely with other college Undergraduate/Graduate Services Administrators, college advisors on student retention, recruitment, and community outreach efforts.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge and/or experience working in higher education
• Experience in event support and social media maintenance
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Must have transportation and valid driver’s license

Job Duties:

Responsibility / Duty: Retention
• Develop and implement retention and student services plan for the College, review and adjust as necessary.
• Research, collect, and analyze data and other information of College enrollment numbers and prepare reports for trends in student retention from university systems.
• Assist with retention programs such as Study Abroad, College in the High School, Running Start, and transfer students.
• Work with key personnel to develop and implement a marketing and retention plan for College programs.
• Coordinate and assist in implementation of the mission and goals of the Student Advisory Board.
• Support Advising and Retention with programs such as the Early Warning System, Minor Navigate Assistance, Probation and reinstatement, Major Ready Transition Support etc.

Responsibility / Duty: Recruitment
• Schedule recruitment, admission and advertisement meetings and/or workshops.
• Work with EWU Office of Admissions on meetings and events with high school counselors and community colleges.
• Assist university and departments on recruitment events and specialized programs such as Finish in 3 and transfer programs.
• Lead coordinator of New Student Orientation events, Admitted Student Days, and other scheduled events involving prospective or incoming students.
• Co-direct the work of the college Student Ambassadors.
• Coordinate and implement the mission and goals of the college Student Ambassador program.

• Provide project support to Dean’s Office staff.
• Assist Executive Assistant to the Dean in marketing the College by assisting in maintaining College website, social media sites, and the annual report.
• Create flyers, posters and other forms of media for College and University use.
• Document College events through photos, video, and event logs.
• Assist Executive Assistant to the Dean with events including but not limited to Commencement, Retreats, Award Ceremony, and College Speaker Series.
• Oversee the Mentor Collective program within the College.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Information: The salary for this position is $52,986 (minimum) up to $63,584. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
