Brandon Lewis Orchards, Inc. is looking to hire two orchard laborers for a full-time, permanent position. Starting annual salary is $35,922.
Workers can expect during the growing season to assist with pruning, hanging pheromones, irrigation of trees, assists with planting of new blocks and tree training, thinning of fruit, harvest of fruit. After harvest when seasonal workers have left, assisting with cleanup and winterization of orchard and orchard tools/supplies including: winterization of irrigation lines in the orchard,
cleaning, inventorying, and storage of orchard supplies such as loppers, picking bags, ladders, cleaning and winterizing orchard housing, inventorying and winterizing sheds, garbage collection and rodent control in orchard in preparation for winter. Workers may also begin pruning orchard trees in late fall and continues throughout the winter and into spring when growing season begins. Workers must possess three months of experience in agricultural labor, be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to communicate in Spanish.
Work will occur near East Wenatchee and Quincy Washington, in Chelan, Douglas and Grant Counties.
