Rural Resources Community Action needs a Smart Start Learning Center Site Manager (Colville, WA). This position is full-time with benefits. As a Site Manager, you will manage the overall Learning Center operations and facilities by setting appropriate program and staff expectations. A site manager will plan and implement the integration of trauma-invested practices that support social-emotional learning and self-regulation in the classroom under the oversight of the program manager and provide supervision, technical assistance, support, training, mentoring, and guidance to teachers, staff, and volunteers. As a Site Manager, you will need a thorough understanding of childcare center operations and licensing requirements, knowledge and implementation of WA DCYF Foundational Quality Standards for Early Learning Programs (WAC 110-300), and comprehensive knowledge and proven success implementing programs for children based on developmentally appropriate practice. The qualities we are looking for include the ability to demonstrate leadership experience and knowledge, including mentorship of employees, leading a team, and providing constructive feedback to staff. As well as the ability to strategically manage a budget and maintain fiscal responsibility, complete required receipt reconciliation and accounts payable, promote cultural sensitivity, diversity, equity, and inclusion among staff, children, and/or caregivers.
To apply for this position, you would need an AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or must have a current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or ECE State Certificate or must be enrolled in a college program leading to an AA degree or BA degree or must be enrolled in a CDA credential or ECE State Certificate program to be completed within two years of hire.
Salary & Benefit information
The full salary range of $21.65-$36.06 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $21.65-$25.33 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase. As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA.
