Throughout the season we have regularly scheduled activities andday trips with transportation provided for associates, including trips tonearby adventures or cities like Seattle to visit Pike Place or catch aMariners game! Employees with vehicles are only a short 2-hour trip away fromexploring many destinations like Portland and Seattle on their own.
Because of our unique location, room and board are provided to associates whodo not live in one of our surrounding communities at a very low-cost viapayroll deduction. Laundry facilities are provided at each dorm unit at no costto employees. Employee meals are served in Employee Dining Rooms. We can also accommodate a limited number of RV units. All RV's must befully self-contained - no camper shells/vans, etc.

Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Paradise Inn - Seasonal - $19.00
JOB SUMMARY Under direction ofHousekeeping Manager, assist in the management of all aspects of thehousekeeping function at Paradise Inn to maintain a consistently high standardof cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. Assist in supervision of Housekeeper staff to ensure tasks are completedin safe and efficient manner. Manage thedepartment in the absence of the Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Monitor, problem solve, and direct workers to ensure efficient and safe completion of all housekeeping tasks daily Train and on-board new staff on safety and procedures Communicate regularly and professionally with numerous people including general manager, front desk staff, warehouse manager, and laundry staff to ensure efficient completion of rooms and smooth rotation of guest linens Attend and participate in and safety meetings Participate in and give working direction for pre and post season setup / teardown of hotel rooms and related areas Manage staff appropriately to enforce standards and minimize personnel conflicts Manage guest lost & found log and supplies inventories Performs such other related duties as directed or required
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGEREQUIREMENTS INCLUDE High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred Six months housekeeping experience strongly preferred Basic computer knowledge and ability including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment Lift, carry, and push up to 15 lbs. regularly, 20-30 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally Able to stand for extended periods Climb steps regularly Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of co-workers and the ability to speak clearly to be understood by same in English Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties
