Auto Glass Technician Job Description
We are looking to hire a highly-skilled auto glass technician (or mechanically inclined individual to train) to repair or replace the windshields as well as door and quarter glass on customers’ vehicles. The auto glass technician’s responsibilities include notifying customers of various issues that may affect glass installation, removing damaged glass without causing further damage to customers' vehicles, completing all necessary paperwork, and keeping damaged glass areas moisture-free during repairs. You should also be able to inspect windshields and windows to determine whether the glass should be repaired or replaced.
To be successful as an auto glass technician, you should demonstrate sound mechanical skills and adhere to all health and safety regulations when using hazardous materials. Ultimately, an exceptional auto glass technician should be able to effectively communicate with customers and achieve excellent customer service at all times.
Auto Glass Technician Responsibilities:
Using a primer to prime all damaged areas of windshields and car windows.
Traveling to various locations to assess as well as repair or replace customers' windshields and windows.
Removing moldings, wipers, screws, bolts, and clips before glass installation and repairs and replacing them thereafter.
Injecting resin into small chips or cracks for repairs.
Identifying issues that may affect glass installation, such as rust or vehicle damage.
Removing all dirt and debris from windshields and windows before beginning repair or weatherproofing treatments.
Using clips, moldings, and adhesives to affix custom-cut glass to customers’ vehicles
Auto Glass Technician Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Proven experience working as an auto glass technician.
Sound knowledge of automotive glass repair and installation techniques.
Strong mechanical skills.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Glazier Job Description
We are looking to hire a talented and professional glazier (or individual willing to learn a unique trade) to measure, cut, and install glass fittings in homes and businesses. A glazier’s responsibilities include working with blueprints to cut glass to specifications, assembling and fitting glass in shop windows, sliding doors, display cases, bathroom units, and other home or commercial structures.
As a glass installer, your duties are to cut windows to fit within frames, replace broken windows, and install new windows for renovations or construction projects. Your responsibilities include ensuring that a window product fits correctly and works efficiently for customers. You can work with a variety of products that need windows, including showers, vehicles, homes, sheds, and businesses. These positions require some travel to meet with customers and install windows, but you can do most glass cutting projects in the shop.
To be successful as a glazier, you should have detailed knowledge of the glass manufacturing and cutting process, have good eye-hand coordination, be able to lift heavy objects, and have excellent communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch glazier provides a positive customer experience while constantly meeting high professional standards.
Glazier Responsibilities
Interpreting blueprints to determine the shape, size, color and thickness of glass for installation procedures.
Measuring and marking lines or patterns on glass before cutting.
Cutting glass to size and specifications in the workshop and on the job site.
Loading glass or mirror fittings onto company trucks for transport to the job site.
Driving trucks to job sites and unloading glass and materials.
Fabricating and installing moldings for glass installation.
Cutting and removing broken glass prior to new installation.
Operating heavy equipment for larger scale projects.
Cleaning the job area once glass has been installed and the client is satisfied.
Glazier Requirements:
High school diploma.
Clean driving abstract.
Ability to lift heavy objects.

Ability to deal with stressful situations.
Our company works Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m with the occasional weekend depending on client needs. Our pay structure is based on performance, experience, and reliability.
Employee work schedule: Full Time Day Shift - Monday thru Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with occasional overtime.
Experience: Preferred but will provide invaluable on the job training. Position is entry level.
Education Level: High School or equivalent
Salary/Wage: $17.00 - $28.00/hour DOE
