We seek an administrative assistant to join our fast paced workplace. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail oriented and has strong computer skills. Part time with flexible hours.
Specific Duties:
- Keep social media up to date with information and events
- Create and maintain brochures and forms
- Filing
- Track in-kind and all other donations in a useable database
- Open, process and distribute mail, incoming and outgoing
- Receipt money and checks
- Maintain personnel files
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills; Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone and face-to-face with visitors and other staff members, and perform at least minimal physical activities throughout the agency.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities while keeping client and visitors needs first and foremost while taking care to maintain client confidentiality as required by law.
- Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, MS Publisher, QuickBooks, Excel, and database skills. Must have excellent spelling skills.
