The Sales Analyst role is an invaluable part of our mission focusing on reciprocal partnerships with our business partners. This role will, work with their leadership and sales teams to build and present to our partners a business case for making operational changes impacting their overall costs and our abilities to exceed performance expectations. This role will also be a key member in special assignments related to enhancing and growing our business as assigned by leadership.

Your responsibilities
The Sales Analyst will provide data driven business cases for our partners to increase efficiencies. They will also be the point person for their region's sales reporting, as well as, other business initiatives related to the success of the business goals as outlined by leadership for ABB Electrical Installation Products division.
Evaluate, Identify, and prioritize target partners and build a business case presentation for optimization in their ordering patterns utilizing ABB provided tools.
Be able to communicate the business case directly to the customer at all levels in an organization (buyers, Management, Executive Leadership, etc.). As well as, to our internal team Account Managers/Agents, and Sales Managers.
Analyze distributor stocking lines and identify gaps via Product Line Gap analysis and suggest additions to complete their product offering and boost ABB sales.
Assist in the development and organization of industry measures, such as, Trade Area Reviews, and Market Share Analysis reporting.
Identify and evaluate new potential partners and manage on boarding tasks as needed.
Utilizing leads from our Sales Application Engineers, quote log follow-up, and other resources you will work with our internal team and agents to manage opportunities to successful completion of a purchase order and keep details updated through Salesforce throughout the process.
Evaluate Special Pricing Agreement usage and parameters to ensure policies are met.
Manage monthly sales reporting as directed by the Regional Sales Manager in your territory such as Monthly Sales and Allocation reports.
Manage and assist in securing annual partner agreements in a timely manner.
Be willing and eager to join special task forces that will advance ABB Installation Products goals and leadership directives.
Your background
High School Diploma with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred in engineering, business, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, trends, business analysis, and salesforce preferred
Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments
General knowledge of the electrical industry, or parallel industry preferred
Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer programs, along with desire and aptitude to expand
Combination of education and experience demonstrating ability for more complex assignment and/or promotable within the organization
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
