We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for Guest Services Manager to join our team in managing our specialty wine shops in Kirkland and Woodinville.
The Guest Services Manager will provide excellent customer service and remarkable wine experiences in a financially responsible and compliant manner in order to create loyal brand ambassadors. The overall purpose of this position includes responsibility for leading the tasting room, wine club, events and hospitality activities for our specialty wine shop locations in Kirkland and Woodinville. We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated individual with strong project management skills, high detail-orientation and excellent written and verbal communication.
What you will do:
Developing and executing strategic business plans to create business building programs.
Position will work with supporting staff to hire, train, and counsel.
Manage the overall sales and profitability of tasting room, including Wine Club and other channels.
Develop a GS team of brand ambassadors who provide exceptional customer service.
Position must analyze business trends and create business-building programs that both fit within the corporate goals and enhance revenue opportunities.
Develop marking program to drive visitor traffic and overall sales.
Position oversees the marketing programs and tourism development related to the Tasting Room and Wine Club.
Develop and execute events for VIP guests.
Work with Senior Management to control inventory including allocation, flow, replenishment as well as responsibility for inventory variances.
Position will occasionally host media and act as a representative for Public Relations department as requested.
Position ensures that SMWE is the industry leader in providing external and internal customer service
Position must strive to build positive relationships within the community.
Position will conduct all business in a compliant manner, following company guidelines in all areas including shipping, movement of product, and alcohol and health department control standards.
Position must have strong financial and analytical skills.
Must have prior budgeting and P&L experience with demonstrated abilities in these areas.

This role is salaried, full time
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times
Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
Able and willing to work on-premise (indoors and outdoors).
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of retail, hospitality or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of three (3) years of management experience with ability to train and develop employees.
Strong experience in hospitality and/or luxury retail
Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business, hospitality management, public relations, finance or closely related field preferred.
Experience in launching a new brick & mortar store front / club / restaurant
Retail purchasing experience including solid understanding of inventory, receiving and shipping, and cash control procedures.
Strong personnel management experience; problem solving skills; attention to detail; organizational skills
Ability to manage several projects at the same time
Ability to train staff; motivational skills; sales training skills; technical training skills
Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders involved in the business, including brand marketing, creative, web site, event planners, wine-making, etc.
Strong technical computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, POS systems (Microsoft D365 preferred), etc. and ability to demonstrate these skills
Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of building revenue and profit.
Strong customer service orientation in a high end, high touch environment.
Strong communication skills including polished public speaking and presentation skills.
Flexible availability including evenings/weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age
MAST Class 12 Permit required
Must possess a valid driver's license
History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
