We are currently hiring a Server for Part-Time & Full-Time Positions!
A little about us - we are a brand new family-owned and operated Ice Cream Company & Cafe located in Sequim, WA. When you step inside -14 Below Ice Cream Co. & Cafe, you’re surrounded by the best of everything: fresh ingredients, delicious dishes, fantastic ice cream, and incredible people. We are proud to offer a unique and delicious type of homemade ice cream - not seen or tasted anywhere else in the WORLD. Alongside our extraordinary Ice Cream, we serve an array of flavorful Breakfast & Lunch offerings using handpicked local, national, and international ingredients (including our own fresh pasture-raised chicken eggs) that are cooked to perfection by our esteemed culinary team. As a member of our front-of-house team, you’ll be a part of creating memorable & enjoyable experiences for our guests during their visit.
The position of Server is an essential part of our team that holds our team’s backbone together - bridging the gap from Front Of House to Back of House responsibilities in the cafe. The Server will be responsible for guiding a guest through their dining experience by educating them on our menu, helping answer questions, anticipating their needs throughout their meal, and providing a memorable & enjoyable experience. During the everyday business of the restaurant, the Server will efficiently communicate the guest’s specific orders to the Kitchen via our handheld POS and ensure that all meals are served uniformly for the table to enjoy together. The Server shall actively monitor their assigned tables while they enjoy their meals and assist them however they can. Afterward, the Server shall actively clear used and unnecessary tableware immediately upon each guest finishing their meal and then transport them to our designated back of house area. After all guests at a table have finished their meal, the Server will be responsible for processing their checks at the table following the cash handling procedure to close out their experience. Lastly, you will be a part of the reason why our guests return time and time again.
Together - we look to create something that our guests will never forget!
We can’t wait to meet you!
