Come join our team as a Family Resources Coordinator (FRC) to assist families with children ages birth to 3 years old with developmental delays and/or disabilities to gain access to early intervention services and to support families in accessing community resources and programs. Education and experience preferences are outlined below, but we are willing to train the right person!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates early intervention services for children ages birth to 3 with developmental delays and/or disabilities in accordance with state law and Federal IDEA, Part C;
- Develops and maintains Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) for eligible children receiving early intervention services;
- Responds to referrals, interviews, and assists persons in need of early intervention services;
- Makes referrals to community resources on behalf of families and children;
- Visits individuals and families in their homes, community settings, and/or virtually to explain program services and available community resources;
- Maintains professional and open communication with school districts and community partner agencies;
- Maintains files and records of work activities and program services;
- Maintains working relationship with all team staff;
- Educates the public and develops rapport with community partner agencies to publicize program services;
- Assists therapists in delivery of services;
- Provides office support with daily functions;
- Other duties may be assigned
- Education/Experience and Required Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or other related field preferred. Work experience may substitute for education. We are willing to train the right person!
- Previous experience working in early childhood education, home visiting programs, preschool, daycares or other related social services setting preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted which provides the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Experience working with a diverse, multicultural population considered an asset
- Bilingual English/Spanish oral and written required
Other Requirements: Valid Washington State Drivers License Ability to pass background check TB testing

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
